The GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag is a unique washbag designed to drastically decrease the number of microplastics that make it into waterways. It works as a filter for synthetic clothing, so all you need to do is place your garment inside before washing as you normally would.According to the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT, on average 86% fewer synthetic fibres break when washed in this bag. The fibres that do break collect in the corners of the and can be easily removed and disposed of responsibly. -

Care
Fill to about ⅔ full so that textiles can easily move around in the bag
Add other (non-synthetic) garments or a second filled GUPPYFRIEND to avoid imbalance
Wash at 40°C maximum
Use liquid and natural detergents without synthetics
Remove coarse dirt and pet hair before washing
Slide the zipper into the garage provided at the end of the zipper
Avoid rinsing under running water so that collected microplastics are not washed into the environment
Do not wash wash sharp-edged objects
Do not iron or use in a tumble dryer
Hang to dry in direct sunlight

If you're not completely satisfied, you are welcome to exchange your purchase* with the original receipt for a full refund, store credit, or an alternative product, within 60 days. The returned product must be unused, and in the original packaging with all tags still intact. Footwear should be tested indoors and returned in original packaging. Shoe boxes must be free of tape, writing, and stickers; use a postage bag for added protection.
*Excludes next-to-skin swimwear, masks, underwear, food, gas canisters, and gift vouchers.
